This has to be one of the worst online dating services I’ve ever used. Not only does hardly anyone respond to your messages (I suspect over 50% of their members are non paying so cannot respond) but the site in itself doesn’t offer anything over the alternatives.
Money well wasted, steer clear if you want my opinion.
A great little site and although I’ll admit there are a lot of dead accounts amongst the members, there are still loads of real people to meet too.
I met my current boyfriend and the one before on it and it’s been an awesome experience as a whole. 2 thumbs up from me.
Match.com are one unethical company and the only thing that really matters to them is their bottom line.
What these guys do is basically store your details, photos and narrative even after you’ve stopped using them. Then every now and again they recycle their member profiles making it look like new members are joining.
For example at this present moment in time I’m not only available to view and contact on their website but my details are actually out of date!!!
In conclusion be very careful before handing over any personal details because they might come back to haunt you.
I joined match for 1 month just to see what it would be like. All I can say is that I’m having a total blast with contact real girls who actually respond to my messages unlike some other dating sites which begine with an L and end in an E.
Seems like a real community of people and yeah I’m sure like most of the online companies there is a case for some of the members being fake etc, but overall I’m well pleased.
I’ve been chatting with a few girls quite seriously over the past month and I hope to eventually narrow that down to just one. Loads of nice girls guys, you just need to give it a chance.
Customer service like most businesses these days is average but I’ve come to expect that. And with the auto renewal thing which many people have mentioned well that’s just part of their business and they do notify you of it when you signup.
